Will the U.S. mandate vaccines for domestic flights?

It's doubtful the Biden administration
will implement the domestic air travel
mask mandate for the airlines

What could be the real reason behind
this discussion? I try to put some
perspective you don't see
in the news or social media.

The US economy weighs more importance than the citizens who run it.

Health and Safety and Science are one thing we all are told to follow and get vaccinated. The mandates help make it possible, and they work.

'Anything that could get people vaccinated would be welcome,' Fauci says

We all know the airlines have mandated the vaccines for all their employees; they understand the importance of keeping them safe and keeping the planes flying.

On the flip side, a vaccine travel mandate for passengers will cause a loss of passenger revenue, and the industry will collapse. The airlines are ok with their employees who are vaccinated to deal with everyone who might not be to keep business going.

The Aviation industry is very complex, and Airlines are under constant pressure. The US runs the largest airlines in the world. All the CEOs are in direct contact with the President. If Airlines shut down its game over in every aspect, you can imagine resulting in a total collapse of the US economy. Weather, Hedging against fuel prices, aircraft manufacturer defects, and crashes like the 737-Max are all headwinds.

It's a good idea to mandate it for 6 months to get the pandemic under control and get more people to get the shots. Biden is a broken record asking on Live TV "Get Vaccinated Folks" and that is not going to work. 30MM million people that remain will not get vaccinated we all know that. It's like a parent asking their adult children to do something.

Meanwhile, someone with a positive covid test can board a flight and put lives at risk.  Collateral damage is part of doing business.
